This listing is for a brand new reproduction worm shaft and bronze worm wheel which have been specially manufactured to original specifications and processes.
These gears are specifically for the DB18 Special Sports and 2.5 litre Empress models with an axle ratio of 4.857 :1 as fitted with the overdrive pre selector gearbox.
The corresponding list number in the original parts catalogue for this axle type is 32396.
A full set of differential ball bearings, thrust bearings and modified oil seal, as shown in the photo, are also supplied with the gears.
